Toa Samoa Injury & Team Update: Pacific Cup Final

Toa Samoa has been dealt a major blow ahead of this Sunday’s Pacific Cup Final, with star forward Jeremiah Nanai ruled out due to a shoulder injury.

Nanai was a standout performer in Toa Samoa’s last outing against Tonga, crossing for two tries in the team’s hard-fought victory. His absence will be felt as Samoa prepares for their historic showdown against the Kiwis at CommBank Stadium.

In positive news, Jaydn Su’A is set to make his return to the squad, replacing Nanai in the lineup. Su’A missed last month’s win over Tonga while recovering from a concussion but has now been cleared to play.

Meanwhile, Ata Mariota is also in the mix for a return following a head knock earlier in the tournament. He has been named 18th man for the final.

Toa Samoa remains focused and united heading into the Pacific Cup decider, determined to represent Samoa with pride on the international stage.
