RUNIT INVADES AMERICA: Australian-Born Collision Sport Built by Samoans Hits U.S. Soil

America, brace yourselves – the world’s most savage one-on-one combat sport is finally here.

RUNIT – the no-holds-barred, full-speed collision format that’s already exploded for tens of millions of views worldwide – is storming the United States with six massive, 100% free trial events that will show American fans, live and in person, why the rest of the planet is calling this the hardest sport ever created.

One runner. One tackler. 20 meters. Zero padding. One apocalyptic hit decides everything.

Born in Melbourne, Australia, from the backyards and schoolyards of Polynesian communities, RUNIT was turned into a professional global league by six proud Samoan brothers; Brendan Taua’a, Brandon Taua’a, Virgil Taua’a, Noel Taua’a, Reni Molimau, and Andy Molimau.

These usos took a backyard game every Island and Kiwi kid growing up in Australia knows, professionalized it, viralized it, and now they’re bringing it straight to America.

Noel Taua’a on what it means: “It means everything for us as a unit. We take a lot of pride in where we’re from and where our parents are from, the sacrifices our ancestors made for us. That’s our major motivation in pushing RUNIT to the world.”

And the bigger picture: “We want to bring unity, especially for our Polynesian people. We want to create a platform to show the world that Islanders can do it too… We want to be a household name, especially in American homes.”
