Super Bowl Champion Jordan Mailata Makes NFL Top 100 Debut

2024 stats: 12 games | 802 snaps | 14 QBP allowed | 1 sack allowed

Jordan Mailata has officially arrived on the big stage. The Philadelphia Eagles left tackle cracked the NFL Top 100 for the first time in his career, landing at number 69 after a season that ended with a Super Bowl ring.

Even with only 12 regular season games played in 2024, Mailata was a force in the trenches. He anchored Philadelphia’s offensive line, protecting Jalen Hurts and opening lanes for Saquon Barkley. The result was a season where the Eagles offense looked nearly unstoppable.

Per Pro Football Focus, Mailata allowed just 1.5 sacks across 802 snaps. That ties him for the fewest sacks allowed among all left tackles with at least 350 pass-blocking reps. His reliability under pressure gave Hurts the confidence to stay in the pocket and let Barkley dominate on the ground.

Mailata’s journey from the rugby fields of Australia to the NFL Top 100 is nothing short of remarkable. At 27 years old and with a Super Bowl title under his belt, he is no longer the unknown seventh-round pick. He is now one of the premier tackles in the league and a key part of the Eagles’ future.
