Yazmin Jauregui (12-2) returned from a two-year layoff and needed barely a minute. Demopoulos pressed forward and went to the lead leg early, but a Jauregui right hand sent her backward, and the Tijuana fighter never let her reset. A straight run of punches pinned Demopoulos to the fence, she went down, and referee Blake Grice waved it off.
After an up-and-down first six UFC fights, Jauregui is 5-2 in the Octagon, healthy again and only 27. Put the strawweight division on notice.
